Accessibility
The Office of the Commissioner of Housing Equity (OCHE) is committed to meeting the needs of people with disabilities and making it convenient and simple to use our services. The OCHE adheres to the City of Toronto's accessibility policies and commitment to identify, prevent and remove barriers to people with disabilities in accordance with the legislated standards in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA).
What we are doing
The OCHE strives to make its environments accessible to all visitors, both online and in person. English is the language we use to do business. However, we will make every effort to make our services accessible to non-English speakers on request.
To help us make the www.oche.ca website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user-friendly for everyone.
We've worked hard to make sure the www.oche.ca website meets WCAG Level AA, which exceeds legislated requirements under the AODA.
Let us know what you think
We will monitor the www.oche.ca website regularly to make sure we maintain the WCAG Level AA standard, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch. If you are unable to access our information, or require documents or communications in an alternate format, please contact us through any of the following methods:
- Send an email to info@oche.ca
